This is my vinyl sided Saltbox style house on the cold night of 1/31/06. The building envelope is mostly well insulated...notice the warm boards of the house framing. There is substantial heat loss above the front door and some less severe heat loss present at the upper right corner of the picture at the soffit.
Notice also the moisture streaking under the corners of both windows.
